Michael Hammonds
PRESIDENT
My name is Michael Hammonds, and I’m excited to serve as the President of the SBA for the 2024-2025 school year. As the SBA President, my focus is on fostering an inclusive and supportive community where every student feels empowered to voice their ideas and concerns as well as helping students develop the skills and experiences they need to become exceptional attorneys and have successful legal careers. I’m committed to advocating for our student body, ensuring that our voices are heard in all administrative decisions, and working closely with faculty to address our needs. By leading with transparency and collaboration, I aim to create initiatives that not only enhance student life today but also pave the way for future students to thrive.

Ilse Ghent
VICE-PRESIDENT
My name is Ilse Ghent, and I will be serving as the Vice President of the SBA for the 2024-2025 school year. As Vice President, my duties include acting as a liaison for the Registered Student Organizations. I am particularly excited for this opportunity to make sure as many students are getting involved as possible. I am also responsible for planning SBA events, and I will focus on planning these events in a way that encourages connections within our school. This year, I pledge to do my part to encourage and empower students to get involved and pursue every opportunity the University of Arkansas School of Law has to offer.

Eleanor Duffield
SECRETARY
I am Eleanor Duffield, and will be serving as the Secretary for the 2024-2025 Student Bar Association. This year, my goal is to foster an environment where students feel empowered to engage and fully leverage the opportunities available at our law school. I aim to be a resourceful liaison, and to promote the success of my peers!

Grant Eshelman
TREASURER
My name is Grant Eshelman and I am serving as treasurer for the 2024-2025 class year. My goal as treasurer is to make SBA a great experience for everyone while keeping costs as low as possible for students through fundraising and events!

Maddy McCulloch
FACULTY LIAISON
Maddy is thrilled to serve on the Student Bar Association for her third year, now as the faculty liaison. Faculty liaison is a unique and vital position that helps facilitate a bridge between the study body, faculty, and staff. We are very fortunate to have such supportive and intelligent faculty and staff, and they are continuously receptive to student input. When not working with the SBA, Maddy is also the Chair of the Board of Advocates.

Andrew Kutchka
CHIEF OF STAFF
My name is Andrew but most folks call me Kutchka. I am beyond excited to serve as Chief of Staff alongside this incredible executive board throughout my 2L year. I went to the University of Arkansas for my undergraduate history degree and I am ecstatic to be a student of the University of Arkansas School of Law. I am eager to contribute to our vibrant legal community and make a meaningful impact on campus.

Jaylen Wilbon
AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATIVE
My name is Jaylen Wilbon, and I am a 3L from Memphis, Tennessee. It is an honor to serve as our law school’s American Bar Association (ABA) Representative. My journey through law school has been greatly influenced by the support and collaboration of my peers, and I believe in the importance of giving back to the community that has contributed so much to my growth.
The ABA offers invaluable resources to help us, as aspiring attorneys, navigate our legal education and prepare for our professional careers. My goal is to strengthen our students' connection with the ABA by facilitating access to a wide range of opportunities, including training sessions, seminars, networking events, competitions, and more. I am committed to ensuring that our student body is well-prepared to excel in the legal field. I am excited to serve in this capacity and look forward to helping my peers make the most of the resources available to them. My name is Will Scobey, I’m a lifelong resident of Arkansas, and a graduate of Arkansas State University. This year I will be serving as the Arkansas Bar Representative. MINORITIES AND WOMEN’S AFFAIRS REPRESENTATIVE
Hello, my name is Stephanie Ponzaneli, and I am honored to serve as the Minorites and Women's Affairs Representative. I am a first-generation Latina law student, and I am excited to ensure all voices are heard. I want to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Diversity not only strengthens us as a school but prepares us to be more effective and prepared advocates beyond these four walls.

Lauren Burnett
PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER
My name is Lauren Burnett, and I’m a 2L from Bryant, Arkansas. I received my bachelors from the University of Arkansas and was a member of Tri Delt. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Razorback, so much so I decided to stay for law school. With that, I knew I wanted to be involved and serve my law school community along with the community as a whole. I am so honored to be able to serve as the public service officer for SBA. I’m so excited to facilitate various philanthropic events throughout the school year.

My name is Josh Prusak and I will be serving as the 3L SBA Representative for the 2024 - 2025 school year. My focus is to be an advocate for the members of the Class of 2025 and to ensure that their voices are heard during SBA meetings. In addition to that, I hope to foster a welcoming
environment for every member of the Class and do what I can to make sure their last year of law school at the University of Arkansas is a success.

My name is Kenneth Clark, and I’m very excited to be your Section 1 Representative for our 1L class this year! My goal is to help us all make the most of the networking and career opportunities that our law school offers as well as ensure every one of us feels included, heard, and important throughout our law school journey. I’m eager to help build a strong community within Section 1, across both 1L sections, and throughout the student body at large. Candace Rouson
My name is Candace Rouson, and I proudly represent the second section of the class of 2027! I am originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, but lived in Jonesboro, Arkansas, for the last 15 years. I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees from Arkansas State University and another master's from Regent University. I am a follower of Christ, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I truly take pride in all that I am graced to do. I look forward to doing the same as 1L representative. My passion lies in working with people and being a support wherever needed. I enjoy connecting people to necessary resources to help them achieve any goals they may have. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to do the same for my class. I am also a natural-born cheerleader, so encouraging my peers as often as possible as we go through this first year together is a priority as well.
